Making sure we have a consistent focus on careers, pathways and enrichment plays an important role in the development of our students and our curriculum offers a rich and purposeful set of opportunities, experiences and encounters, from workshops and in-person work experience to visits to the world’s best universities and everything in between.

Through this provision, Lift Schools pupils develop a set of skills for life, together with the knowledge, understanding and personal attributes that will support them in choosing, securing and retaining occupations in which they can be both successful and happy.

We weave employability through the curriculum to ensure that Lift schools pupils have a clear understanding of the world of work and are exposed to a wide range of careers at every stage and phase of their school journey.  As they look towards future destinations, our pupils benefit from a comprehensive program of support, aimed at helping them to transition to ambitious destinations that are right for them.
